Event Info

Our next Mad Marsh Run event takes place on Sunday 22nd September. The car park will open at 8:30am. The run is due to start at 10:00am.


Car parking is FREE. The car park opens at 8:30am.


Upon arrival, enter the registration area and confirm your name. You may be required to present proof of age or photo ID.

Bags & Valuables

We must ask that you leave ALL your valuables in your car, and we will have a safe place for car keys.

Footwear & Clothing

All runners must wear suitable footwear (running trainers or trail run shoes are fine). Shoes with spikes are not permitted. Runners should be aware of weather conditions on the day of the event, and wear suitable running clothing. A change of dry clothes is also recommended.

Course Map, Markers and Marshals

There will be course maps at the registration area. There will be markers placed on the course, and our marshals will provide directions when required.

Water Stops

There will be two water stops throughout the course, at ditch 7 and between ditches 10 and 11.

Washing Off

There will be outdoor showers available at the end of the run to wash off the worst of the mud! Please bring your own towels and face wipes.


Toilet facilities are provided at the registration area. There will also be portaloos on the course itself, by the water stop.

Accidents & Injuries

There will be a full medical team on site to deal with any accidents and injuries.


Spectators will be able to see the start and finish, and follow the spectators' walk. The walk visits some of the best obstacles on the run, and there is also a looping 'hop-on drop-off' tractor and trailer ride that follows the spectators' route.


There will be bacon/sausage sarnies and tea & coffee available from 8:30 am to 10am (before the run starts). There will be a barbeque during the event, supplying Hook & Son beef burgers, with salad. Chilled water and alcoholic drinks will also be available. Runners will also receive their very own Mad Marsh Run T-shirt, medal and a glass bottle of Hook & Son fresh organic milk!
